Rachel is an outstanding teacher in all aspects. Not only does she aim to reach beyond your academic potential, but she is also a very caring and thoughtful teacher. Throughout my IBDP, I was in constant stress and duress due to personal and academic issues, but she inspired me to regain hope and encouraged me to do better. Before meeting her, my Business Management HL grade was at a 3 and I was completely lost. Rachel taught me at my own flexibility, but thoroughly till the end of IB and I ended up with a final grade of 6. She has been both a teacher, and a strong mentor who still till this day continues to be a strong support for all her students.

Prior to meeting Rachel for Business Management Tuition, I was having issues with understanding and digesting the content in school. This prompted me to look for someone that would be able to help explain and break down difficult concepts, which resulted in me finding Rachel as a tutor.
After having classes with her, my grades improved from barely passing/failing, to being able to consistently do well in class tests and be able to follow the flow of the class. This reflected in my final grades in school, from a low 2-3 to a decent 5.
She is a very engaging tutor, and is able to moderate her pace to suit my needs. At times she is strict and would ensure that I would continue to study and revise after tuition sessions. She would also attempt to arrange for timings that better suit the student’s timetable without creating too much of a hassle. I learnt how to better manage my time and ask questions whenever I am in doubt rather than sitting on it.
Rachel is a very well-rounded and educated person that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking additional help in their studies. She is also sincere about improving your grades and your work attitude when it comes to studying.

When I first went to Rachel, I was barely passing my IB Economics HL course. Rachel did an impeccable job of assigning me a wide range of practice questions which strengthened my foundation. She was also meticulous in providing feedback on my essays and explaining concepts which I had difficulty grasping. She strives to foster positive, amicable relationships with her students, myself included, making her far more accessible to them and making it easier to email her questions outside of class time. As a result, my strong foundation in Economics which Rachel built up helped me get a distinction in the IB final exams. Not only that, even after 2 years of disruption because of army, that foundation has been invaluable in helping me get As in the Economic courses I have taken at Princeton University.

Being the first time I took up Economics, I had numerous doubts about the subject initially and I did not fare well for my examinations. However, by the end of the first few lessons, I was already able to have a better understanding of the subject and many of my doubts were cleared up and explained clearly. Through Rachel's patient guidance and clear explanations, I was able to grasp the concepts easily and understand the subject better, no less aided by her friendly and engaging personality. Under her guidance, I am pleased to say that my results have vastly improved from a grade 3 before to a grade 6 by the end of my IB examinations.

Rachel was first introduced to be my Business Management teacher when she was fresh out of University in 2011. Personally, I thought that she lacked experience. However, it proved otherwise! Rachel was able to help me to prepare and quickly improve my IGCSE Business Studies grades over a short 3 month period of time. Her classes are very easy to understand and she was especially able to provide general knowledge as our classes progressed.
